haven't had so much fun in agesSs .. ^^ went to finally watch howl's moving castle at dendy newtown with mina and monica.. which i'd been pining to see since MARCH this year i kid you not.. remember seeing the poster for it at the silvercord cinemas in hk and i was like o0oH ghibli must watch must watch .. and this whole time i'd been hoping to see it.. in vain hope that the dvd would get released within a reasonable time.. hence an overwhelming sense of accomplishment at present.. and further hugely glad i got the cinematric experience because it was such a film that deserves it.
true to hayao miyazaki's name, it delivered the heartfelt moments, the magic, the fantasy, the shivers down your spine. and of course the gaps in the story.. those .. metaphors of metaphors of metaphors. but that makes it all the more interesting, in my opinion, as you're left to uncover the layers of the story by yourself.
added plus.. ハウルはすごくかっこいい～！！*dreamy* and 木村拓哉 did the voiceover for him?? i DIDN'T EVEN REALISE until the credits rolled =.="

went karaoke at viva with ben and margaret. green box, big echo and EVEN KMIX were packed on a wednesday afternoon?? argHH damn school holidays *rages* but it wasn't all too much of a problem. now at least we know where to head when every other place is packed AHAHAH. but then again, slightly disappointed that there were so many songs they didn't have.. couldn't even find ANY オレンジレンジ or 嵐 or even サイン by Mr. Children. sorry but that's my limited list of jpop already?! i don't know of any other k-able japanese songs =.="
relived how fun it is to get smashed at karaoke. best experience everssss omfgmust do more often~!! for the record, within 3hrs ben had 3 standard drinks, margaret 4.9, and myself 4.1.. THAT IS, 2 4packs between the 3 of us ^.- those 3hrs.. priceless. recall a lot of swaying, yelling, screaming, hysterics, terrible singing, missing lyrics, and "i've got no more breath"..
along the way home bumped into rachel lim who'd lost her voice.. from a bit too many karaoke visits and acquainting with alcohol.. something along the lines of 3 or 4 days CONSECUTIVE. lesson learnt.
