it's pretty funny watching the expressions of people who look disappointedly into jampacked carriages and deciding that they won't get on. they look so desperate and rushed and panicked. the train stopped at sydenham this morning and while we were all getting impatient the guard's voice came on telling the whole train to move to another platform. surprised me how many people can squeeze on a train. the platform was fully packed with people waiting to go up the stairs.
