had my 18th yesterday. woke up midday to take a shower and bummed around for a while then went out to get baileys and frangelico. they didn't even ask for id and i was like..damn i probably could have gotten alcohol before this?
had my cake first at gelato messina on sussex. 3rd 'cake' for my birthday..*sigh*..including the sara lees i had on sunday, then the black forest from the cheesecake shop on monday. the gelato one was the best though. keeping in mind the cute guy who was working there ^.-
later went around looking for this place called suntory which i'd booked..my aunt had found online somewhere and kind of recommended it to me. turned out the place was called tetsuya's now and 'suntory' was what it was called like 3 years ago. good one aunt. the place was really high class and pretty creepy..all dim lighting and wine glasses and individual rooms kind of thing. we got freaked out when the waiter started putting our napkins down for us and talking about a set course where we get to sample ten little dishes. there wasn't even a menu in sight and the whole thing was going to cost us $170. each. ended up getting our sorry little asses out of there as quick as we could. hah. yeh guys wasn't that memorable? typical example of jennifer's organisational ineptitude xp
later went to k at VIVA KARAOKE which i'd been searching for since sometime during the last week of school. turns out the place is pretty shotty. the decor's all nice and new and everything but songwise, greenbox and kmix are still better. dammit cheryl for recommending the place.
..i once again apologise to the people i starved during that little time delay. *bow*
let's hope my 21st turns out better than this
