hkss cruise/mina's b'day bash
went on combined hkss/ucs/css cruise on sunday night..mainly involving the chinese societies from unsw/usyd/macq. oddly i am not attached to any of these unis but ended there anyway. and god did the fobbiness of the people there shock. like seriously felt odd speaking any english at all? everyone was fully talking in cantonese and mandarin. and fobby english if any =.= even some random korean guy there. like hell go on your own fucking korean cruise mate.
music was a bit weird. never danced along to hkpop gone trance before. fricking hilarious i tell you. like all those sad hkpop songs about recovering from broken relationships gone upbeat. although some of them just sounded WRONG. like very very wrong. as if you were listening to two totally different songs at the same time...but yeh danced up a sweat. though it might have had something to do with the boat arriving with the first level stinking of dead fish so 490 people had to swarm up onto the 2nd and 3rd levels. 2nd level people danced. 3rd level people chain smoked.
thing ended sometime past 11 and went along w/ mina and hkss to green box karaoke after maccas supper. so yeh started k sometime past 1am? then yeh we had 20 or so people in this big room singing k, betting on dice, getting drunk, chain smoking. had great fun getting high on carlton cold which surprisingly tasted not too bad. better than crown lager i reckon. yeh the hkss people were pretty crazy. like they were downing 1/2 a bottle of cold with each bet ? and apparently they were just doing the same shit the night before? and the night before? and the night before that as well? not so much k..mainly betting/drinking/smoking. staying around at green box until that place closed. yeh it closes at 4am btw. we left a bit later than that because hkss people knew the staff. people are funny when they get high at dawn =)
stayed over at mina's w/ our clothes stinking of cigarettes. slept 5 hrs =.=
went out for dinner that night..? because sunday night went on till the next day so yeah .. monday was mina's b'day and we had dinner at fujiya. VERY SLOW SERVICE. then later dessert at pancakes on the rocks. and decided to be touristy after that and walk around the harbour back to circular quay. but god was the view gorgeous...
also..*shock shock HORROR* saw rossana and elaine at the wharf after the cruise then again that night at seoul-ria having dinner with hermia/lily/jacquelyn/phuong. but like seriously OMG WE SAW ELAINE
