i solemnly vow never to think of the mid-sem break as a "break" again. having left my uni work to the last few days (again), i'm having panic attacks as i realise how many assessments i have, how soon they're actually due, and how i haven't started on any of them. add to that the negligible amount of "catching up" i've done during the past week. and it's gonna be 9 weeks in a row from now on. farkKKk
despite lack of uni work, i'm exhausted from doing shifts at aka. i've worked last fri, sat, sun, mon, tues, then again this fri, sat, sun, mon and 2mo. standard 4hr shift each but market city is making me sick already. literally speaking. today was such a great day that when i left at 5, the manager had sold two items, one of which the customer actually "bargained" for, while i had sold nothing. like OMG. aside from that, the new owners who are taking their goddamn precious time signing the handover contract keep paying us daily visits. ie they keep coming in to discuss things about the store amongst themselves then staring at the store from outside and taking measurements and ignoring us in the process. can't wait till the month's over. supposedly the handover should be complete by then.
