been over at mel's to celebrate leonard's & fai's 19th. the usual bumming.. except for this: being stranded on the street for a full hour as mel's block got evacuated.. apparently there was a fire on the top floor o.O but it seemed controllable enough.. no crazy flames leaping out of windows, though the smoke was pretty heavy in the building.. melody went into ARGH-DON'T-EVEN-TALK-TO-ME panic mode. poor mero =(
oh and there was also a desperate escapade last night when andrew + kit + i went to get alco while mero + thao went to get pizzas ..
must say it was awkward getting our pizzas delivered on the street with all these fire engines outside.. got a lot of curious glances our way..
idled the early hours away eating junk and birthday cakes we didn't end up finishing; playing with fai's new toys i.e. leonard on PSP and the rest on foosball, and charades. EHEHE charades was hilarious. took so many videos that my camera didn't have enough battery to close its shutter =.=" there were a few classics, but the one that really shone was when matt + hunt did dumb and dumber .. they just stood up there and mero got it straightaway XDXDXD wow we really do know each other very well ..
stayed up till sunrise then went to sleep. ahHhhh SUCH IS THE HOLIDAY LIFE.. I WILL MISS THAT DEARLY WHEN UNI BEGINS *sob* all woke up with sore backs later today and bludged the day away.. i got my congee, melody got her wontons and the guys got their 500. and leonard still would not be detached from fai's PSP .. oh and we all got our chinglish fix from sun ming's takeaway menu ^.-
..that was comparatively more eventful than friday: went to uni for PN but it was just so0o dead =.= however saw a few internationals from last semester: ombretta, kosuke, shizuki, and a couple of jap guys i'd met @ the cocktail party ^^ .. and OMFG met atsuko who'd stayed a while @ matt's as holly's japanese exchange friend o.O
ended up heading to market city foodcourt of all places for a bite with a few others after delays bumping into the internationals. along the way realised my ex-manager now works downstairs at rogues. yayY now i can stalk him for the 2-month late job reference he owes me =D the bastard has been too lazy to write one up because he was off on holiday with his boyfriend up on the gold coast. ARGH I WANT TO MANGLE HIM SO BAD
didn't know what to do after lunch/arvo tea. in our mission to do something fun, productive and compulsive, we: stood around waiting for chun yik.. then he and eleanor went home. and then we went to the cinema to see what movies were screening but there wasn't anything we could decide on so we went to macca's. and saw jenny yap. so then we just surrendered and went back to uni.... =( bit more bludging back at uni before heading to a supposed PN-international student latina fiesta dance event. was really quite sad. got there when the thing started at 7pm only to be met by an empty markets bar and the DJs STILL SORTING THEIR SHIT?? thank god for irma and her table of Japanese exchange students =D sat around until happy hour at 8:30pm and left after my smirnoff double black and midori pineapple for $6 ONLY XD RABU RABU HAPPY HOUR <3<3 and i found some fellow narimiya hiroki fans in shizuki and atsuko.. WAHAHAHAHA
