have been drastically sleep-deprived of late =( ever since friday which involved dinner with peggy who i had not seen since i can't even remember @ rustic cafe in surry hills, where OMFG we saw a mini cockroach creeping on the wall *shudders*, ensued by a rather disappointing experience at seven along with peggy and thao. after queuing in the *cough* *black label* vip *cough* queue for a full friggin HOUR freezing on the streets only to encounter an insanely packed bar, i must say i fail to comprehend why i've heard rave reviews about that place and why people frequent it so often. as in.. verandah bar really is NOT a clubbing venue?! again bumped into a few randoms that i mainly avoided =p enjoyable trip home, thanks to peggy's generosity in giving me a lift and the company of aggy's stash of mrs fields joy
saturday headed up to fai's to decorate his regency apartment for melody's surprise party. had a bit of a glitch kicking people out, but it half-worked out due to my usual lack of regard for punctuality XD went to luna park and had great fun on dodgem, ranger (WAHAHAHA INVERTED NIGHT VIEW OF HARBOUR), and of course the ferris wheel ^^ heading back to chats, melody ended up more shocked at our collective ability of keeping the secret from her than touched by our efforts =( had a very late dinner and spent the night drinking pina coladas ^^ and baileys. and gin. and vodka. no did not end up trashed.. enjoyed the random bludging session we had staying awake the whole night, playing pictionary and talking about nothing.. and entertaining myself with the pictionary timer in those early hours as dawn broke.
the rest of us sleep-deprived people had yum cha @ kam fook on sunday.. still loving chats ..regency connects you directly to savoy AND westfield under shelter *speechless*
and then i woke up at 7:35am today and ran out the door to get to uts bldg 10 on time for my peer network training day *dies*
