japs are blatant racist bastards. seriously this is now we're talking about? MODERN DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY?! i would've thought what with globalisation and all these universal ideals about anti-discrimination and equality we were meant to be more accepting of multiculturalism?
granted, japs share strongly held cultural bonds among themselves, and are inherently racist to the extent that they assume foreigners will never fully share the same level of understanding.
okayYy i can accept that. to a certain extent. i can't say for myself that i'm entirely accepting of other races.. there's always stigma associated with stereotypes such as lebanese, aborigines, even mainland chinese people and i'm one of them myself.
but we're talking about outright exclusionism here? ..that's the SAME SHIT that happened prior to the USA's Civil Rights Movement HALF A CENTURY AGO?! you are in moral terms 50 YEARS behind a nation that is infamously renowned for its arrogance! seriously that just makes you one VERY SCREWED UP society.

i acknowledge that i'm generalising here and being prejudiced. and the handful of japanese international students i know are all exceedingly friendly people. but this site just killed me.
