today was my.. palm beach adventure day~!. FARk we went past narrabean on the bus and i was in shock.. *eyes wide* day involved being given an impromptu irish lesson (note: whisky irish for "water of life" ^.-) on the bus trip, being jumped and subsequently licked by a dachshund, taking an inclined elevator thing to access someone's HOUSE because it was on a CLIFF, and trekking up insanely steep driveways IN HEELS.. then TREKKING BACK DOWN AGAIN =.=" ..also met some pretty interesting people.. heaps of backpackers from the UK, Ireland, USA, some French person who's a writer (?), an architect who built his own maaaaaaaaaaaad house on a cliff. AND got pointed to where bec cartwright/lleyton hewitt apparently live. same person told us he was guy sebastian's neighbour.. fascinating is an understatement.
why all this? stupidly stumbled upon a job advert for focus marketing group as a DIRECT MARKETER ... ie. doorknockers =___= my interview took.. 7.5hrs? went in at 10am. somehow got immediately thrown into an "orientation" which involved following around one of their staff on their outbound trips, then went back into the office at the end of the day for a second interview and got told i got accepted.
i told them i could work 3 days a week. but then i learned that a typical day under them consisted of hrs from 11:00am to 9:30pm. and that pay was PURELY COMMISSION BASED. i'm thinking of refusing their offer already =___=

i've killed 2 of my best friends over the past week *shakes with sobs* lost the back cover for that damn mitsubishi flip phone that's already screwed up as is. the thing now resembles scrap metal >=( still works, yes. but the battery can fall out any second now..
and my mp3 player.. outdated as its memory space is in terms of mbs rather than gbs.. i must've deleted some vital sub-file or something when i cleared the memory. whenever i switch it on now, it reads "Error! Reformat!" >< can't find the original software it came with either arghH
