still jetlagged [woke up 3pm =D=D], physically exhausted, mentally drained. only 4.5hrs of uni down and i can feel stress daunting, haunting, mocking; relentless . . .
missed a tutorial yesterday because i assumed first week = no tutorials whatsover. WHAT KIND OF SICK BASTARD PUTS OUT TUTORIALS DURING THE FIRST WEEK ARGH..
japanese .. will prove very challenging.. i've barely crammed those course notes and 100 Kanji characters during that 3 month break.. >< !! it's the same teacher as last semester and he was so shocked when he saw me..
..9am starts on mon and thurs, 10am starts on wedns. this is going to be one HELL of a semester.

karaoke on sun with several ex-sghs. we snacked on the nuts i brought back from HK's neway.. =D=D
also tropfest with fai hunt matt theresa. bounds of fun to be had creating our tent of umbrellas, scavenging for food, cursing the huge KPMG umbrella blocking our view, getting drenched when the downpour came in
but omgomgomg we still caught the winning entry!!

aside, HK was.. good. glad i explored.. macau, sai kung, ocean park which i have not been to since errRr .. i dont remember.. o.O
pleasantly surprised to have met up with a number of people.. aside from those previously mentioned, caught up with Nicole and watched Munich, Jessica for dessert, Anita who we bumped into at Macau Tower, Rachel who called me the day before she left .. =.="
..but it made me realise how much of an outsider i felt back there. times, more than several, i'd wake up and go .. bleh.. what am i doing here... countless times i wished the streets were less crowded, the air less polluted, the civilians less obnoxious, the stench of the streets less noticeable, the state of decay less obvious, the sky less fogged up. list goes on..
leaves me wondering how people survive in such a claustrophia-inducing environment
inflight, watched ナナ, charlie and the chocolate factory, half of oliver twist before i found it too heavy for HK 1am/SYD 4am, 4 eps of scrubs. the entertainment channels will never cease to amaze. they even had NATURAL - ORANGE RANGE (jpop) among their CD jukebox for christssakes.....
glad to be back in sydney
..the sky is so much more azure . . .
