Dear Students,
I have to tell you a big problem at YNU. I have got a telephone call from YNU that they will have more exchange students than they expected from next April. First they told me only two students can be accepted from UTS. But after negotiation, they can accept all students to the university course but not to their dormitory (They are not sure at this moment but three students may be able to take the rooms at the dormitory).
I would like to put several options from this news.
1. Do you have any person who you can live with?
2. Whether any of you would like to change the host university after listening this information? Is it possible two of you will move to Sapporo, Hakodate or Kagoshima? In terms of cost, they are cheaper than YNU. We have connection with Faculty of Economics at Sapporo University (private), and the university will find your accommodation near the campus. Hakodate (National) is very kind university and have long and fruitful relationship with us. As you know, Hop spent ICS at Hakodate. Kagoshima (National) is warmer than Hokkaido and have a on-campus accommodation. You may be able to have a English teaching job with the introduction of Professor.
3. If you all still want to go to YNU, we have to find the accommodation. It might be more expensive than the university dormitory and may require the cost of furniture, etc. I will try my best to help you to find the accommodation and ask help to exchange students from YNU to help you.
